Fabrics

Bemberg & Viscose
Viscose is both a semi-synthetic fiber, formerly called viscose rayon, or rayon and a solution of cellulose xanthate.

Chiffon
Chiffon is made from cotton, silk, or synthetic fibers. Under a magnifying glass it resembles a fine net or mesh which gives chiffon some see-through properties.

Georgette
Originally made from silk, Georgette is made with highly twisted yarns. Its characteristic crinkly surface is created by alternating S- and Z-twist yarns in both warp and weft.

Satin
Satin is a weave that typically has a glossy surface and a dull back. The satin weave is characterized by four or more fill or weft yarns floating over a warp yarn or vice versa, four warp yarns floating over a single weft yarn.

Crep
Crep is a silk, wool, or synthetic fiber fabric with a distinctively crisp, crimped appearance. The term crep typically refers to a form of the fabric associated specifically with mourning.

Bemberg Cotton
Cotton is a soft, fluffy staple fiber that grows in a boll, or protective case, around the seeds of cotton plants of the genus Gossypium in the family of Malvaceae.

Polyester [Silver Chiffon]
Chiffon is a lightweight, sheer, and plain woven fabric. It tends to be sheer, with a faint shimmer and a simple weave. Chiffon is generally used in evening and formal wear, as it drapes well and adds a floaty look to gowns and dresses

Polyester Georgette
Georgette fabric is a textile traditionally made from silk, although synthetic fibers such as polyester are sometimes used as well.
